Monday - new school

After hearing on Saturday that schools will re-open in September ... we really need to keep the school online learning motivation going until end of June!!! Monday morning zoom calls - Azi loves!! Zaz thankfully just gets on with it! ... Azi really enjoyed her Hebrew school. I made a new vegetarian Shepards Pie and super delicious healthy biscuits and a nice cauliflower salad (but not as nice as my regular one - says Zaz) ... Lots of good insights coming out of all this Corona stuff ..

Sunday schmooze

Nice morning run / walk on promenade ... Then took scooters to the quiet ally's of Valetta. Then dad made the BEST lunch ever - marinaded Steak .. and potatoes .. followed by UNO and riding ... Sunny Sunday's Social distancing ...

Saturday fun and food with Dad

Beautiful walk in Ghar Lapsi ... awesome mushroom pasta .. and lots of laughing as Dad carried Zaz!

Tuesday

Chilled and Sunny day ... Azi had lots of calls - including a private numeracy lesson and private Spanish. I went to Personal training and ran 2,5km's! Afternoon of dance, football, piano. Made new crackers - but they weren't t very good! Big treat - healthy nachos with guacamole for lunch!!

Monday

I made my kids and I goals to achieve for the day ... (including drinking enough water) .. exercise etc etc ... So the day went pretty smoothly, Azi and ZaZ did their work until 3ish. Then they did the afternoon 'activities' - ballet, piano, football - all inside! I had to go out to Pharmacy and health shop - and its a whole new (sad) world out there!! Goodness. We had yummy salmon for dinner, bed ... Phil watched a great movie about the first hot air balloon ... I finished my book 'Finding Chika' ... This might be our new norm  ... For now!

Sunday - another indoor day

Woke up to Phil making Gluten Free banana bread / muffins in his 'I absolutely love my little oven' oven! I made coconut milk custard to go with it! Zaz and I started watching falsetto. Very interesting.  Then it was back to Lego making, cleaning out the store room, cleaning out the kitchen drawer (both tasks that have been put own hold for ages) ... then Phil made a mince meat, egg, veggie, salty creation. Some silly games in the house, My audio book 'American Dirt' and I went for a walk. (Grey and Windy). We finished watching 'Falsetto'. - probably not appropriate for Azi ... Then it was exercise time and salad for dinner, bath and bed. Phil and I were both sleeping by 10pm. As they say 'the less you do, the less you can do' ...

Saturday

Super chilled day. It was grey and cold (16 degrees) outside. The kids were happy to stay in. They had a good dose of TV in the morning till 10am and then a screen free day until 6pm. Zaz gave herself and Azi a 'Spa' Hair day ... Then they did their new Lego kit ... We did some 'Down Syndrome' sock day dancing. Dad made delicious chicken schnitzel for lunch. I went on a windy but beautiful walk. Phil did the grocery shopping and also got a walk in. At 6ish, we downloaded Broadway HD and washed 'Hettie Feather' - very interesting, Ate Salad infront of TV and off to bed! Oh yes, and the highlight of the day was - Chocolate Fondue!!! And Azi finishing her Art project.
