Azi @ 21 months!

It was so nice and funny reading the other night some of the blog posts that I had made about what ZaZ was saying and doing (and all the quirky little kid things she did - like loved flushing the toilet) ... and it reminded me that for a while, I have not jotted down the cute things Azi is up to ... So here goes - to share with you - and to read when she is 7 and 15 and 37 etc!

- Azi is @ a SUPER cute stage, she is coping everything you say and do and just wants to be involved in whatever action is taking place!

Just this morning she spotted Zarias swimming costume on the washing line, SO immediately she started taking off her baby grow, then said 'dumb' (sounds like come) and with her little fingers doing the come movement, then opens the sliding doors, leads me onto the balcony, points to Zarias swimming costume, puts it on, points to the cap, puts it on and rushes into the kitchen to show Phil that she is going 'swim' with her hands doing a wavy motion! And thats how she stayed for an hour and the cap stayed on until daycare!

- If you catch Azi @ a good moment - she is adorable!! If you catch Azi @ a bad moment - you may be faced with a little person throwing themselves on the floor, throwing her arms up, shouting things in her own language ... THIS generally happens when you take the cell phone away from her, when ZaZ takes something away from her, when she wants something and you doesn't get it (I am worried about her teenage tantrums)

- Azi's use of language is expanding rapidly ... she knows most of the animal sounds, roar, monkey sound 9and actions of scratching under the arm), chicken clucking (and arm clucking action), dog barking - a little woof etc ... She does a long trunk with her arm for elephant and reaches her arm up to the sky for the giraffe's neck, and does a little side to side waddle for the penguin (we are reading 'Does Kangaroo have a mother? by Eric Carle every night - and these are the animals in it)

- Az loves  music and if you catch her @ the right moment - she will do a beautiful dance with hands flying everywhere to 'Let it go' ... ring-a-rosie is her favourite and she will gather everyone in the room to be in the circle, she loves 'I love you .. ' by Barney, she loves this choir song on the swings by ZaZ (which involves her showing me her teeth and kissing on the swing) ...

- Az LOVES giving hugs (only to people she knows!!) ... As soon as somebody (especially Dadadada and Casss) comes through the front door she runs with a ecstatic high pitched sound and arms open to give a big HUG!

- We are still trying to figure this little person out - she is very skeptical and wary of new places and people and in these circumstances will cling to 'Granny' (which she often calls Mamama) or me (the breastfeeding Mama) and cling like a little koala or monkey and not move off ... and then other times we will be @ a park and she will be SO adventurous, climbing on everything, going across bridges ... BUT she does not like it when another child comes on the equipment ...

- Az reminds me of those Seagulls in finding Nemo, 'Mine, mine, mine' is her reply to anything ...

- She loves climbing on our stools and then on the table to be on the computer or cell phone or cell phone and can play with it for ages, finding the videos, her apps etc

- She loves food, and we call her our little 'scavi' ... she has started saying 'eat' (with her fingers to her mouth) as soon she gets into the car ..

- She is loving showering @ the moment and says 'wower, wower' ...

- She adores ZaZ and the more attention and 'rough' play ZaZ does with her - the more she loves it!! She loves when ZaZ does a 'dance' class wit her!

I am sure there is tons more ... Cass, Rona, Phil - her other parents - anything to add ..

Our little Munchkin!!!
