Azi's 2-year-old talk

EVERYTHING Azi says is filled with expression in both the tone of her voice and on her face….these are just some of the common phrases- but she talks about and notices absolutely everything!

'I am never ever going to .... Eat that, go to school, take off my shoes!' (Said with a lot of expression and anger)

If she does something wrong she says, 'mommy, are you sad with me?' When I say I am unhappy that she did xyz (usually throwing her food containers on the floor) she starts singing 'ba ba black sheep' and then says, 'do you feel better now?'

If she does not like something she says, 'that's 'SGUSTING (disgusting)'

If Zaria does something wrong Azi calls and says, "SHE says" I can't throw the sponges ... WHY does SHE say that?!' And the hands are flapping everywhere! Or if Sush is irritating her "SHE's smelling me" "Why is SHE doing that"

She loves a good role play and totally gets into it- whether she's pretending to be a snorting pig or playing along with the hairdresser/manicurist game with Cass and Zaz and also changing her name- she totally gets the funny side of it and has a little smirk on her face…but if you go along with it, she likes to assure (with head nods and hand gestures) "I'm just ATENDING (pretending)"

Most things have "JUST" added onto them…."I JUST love your…shoes, house, pants, this program"…Also "This is my FAVOURITE program"

She loves her little stack of food containers, so if she's driving around (with granny or whoever), she'll say, "Can I have my 'tainers please"

She puts her arms out and says "It's just impossible!"

She started calling Phil "Philly Boy"…As in "These sausies (sausages) are from MY Philly boy"

If you ask her to do something or show you something, she often says "O Course"

Her favourite quantity is millions…so if you give her a treat, or nuts or whatever, she'll say "Can I have millions"

Other phrases:
"I just be joking"
"I got an idea"
"It's just PERfect"
"Are you sure"…."I'm not sure"
"How you feeling today"

Some conversations:

Walks into Cass' apartment building…
Azi: Is this a paddling pool?
Cass: No it's a big
Azi: Wooow its so enormous!

Cass: Azi drink your water (Cass also proceeds to drink her water)
Azi: Why you drinking water, are you not feeling very nice?

Cass: I'm going home girls
Zaz: Noooo
Azi (gesturing to zaz with an outsretched arm and closed fingers) SHE said no! (Looking back at Zaz) "Zaaaaz SHE said she wants to go home!"

Cass: How you feeling Az?
Azi: (Thinking face, speaking slowly and thoughtfully) A LITTLE bit better
Cass: And was school fun?
Az: Not really 'cos I have a dry cough

She can't say C so all words starting with that become a T…tute (cute), toffee (Coffee)

Even when you think she's not listening she is and will comment on something you said to someone else a bit later after reflecting on it…she's cheeky and funny, and totally knows where her bread is buttered (E.g. Cradling Cass' face in both hands and saying "I just love you so much!)

When she wants to be Azi is a great cuddler and will come up to you and hug and kiss, and sometimes nestle her head on your shoulder- Heart melting!
