Azi made me draw our family

She insisted that we draw Cassi with the baby in the stomach

She then drew cassis hair and said, 'what color will the babies hair be?'

I said I don't know

She said, 'oh yes, the scan is in black and white so you can't see'

Then we chatted and one of the kids in the class bought in a scan picture of her baby sister

... I thought we had a little genius! Well, we do! 😉😉! She is an excellent listener!

Az dressed herself and got into the lift and said, 'i look so sporty, im a sporty girl'

She's loving wearing short / no sleeves!

Shoes with laces

All week Azi has been begging for Shoes with laces!

On Saturday she made phil go to 3 different shops to find shoes in her size with laces!

Determination paid off - she's super happy with her 'shoes with laces'

She even shouted this morning, 'we ALL going out wearing shoes with laces'

So glad she can see the joy in smell things!

Azi is saying the cutest things! And so 'adult like' - wish I could write them all!

Yesterday she said, 'I managed to ....'

Today she said, 'I want jam on a cracker, but obviously I can do that myself'

Zaria said something to her 'stop', she starts singing 'stop, collaborate and listen ... '

First piano recital for zaz!

Azi was super excited about dressing 'smart casual'! And sang a whole song about not wearing socks or headband

I do love google photo memories

Azi certainly made me laugh today

I got home at 3am, I went to kiss her, she woke up slightly and said, 'is that you mom?', followed by, 'what did you bring me?' ... then she jumped into bed at 6am and said, 'did you bring me lego?', followed by - 'when you were away we had pizza one night, and another night we had hamburgers and chips, but the chips were really tasteless...' and the chatting continued!

Oh yes, and then tonight - she tried some new anchovies! Still amazes me when she eats these

Oh yes, she also asked how many more days until she goes to kindergarten. When I said she is going after we go to Sydney, she asked (for the 50th time) if dad is coming, when I explained that dad has to stay in Malta and work, she said, 'you know, dad really needs a vacation'

Stunning tile museum

I'm not usually a museum person ... but Portugal's buildings are decorated with these stunning hand made and hand painted tiles!

So it was really interesting to see them all in a great museum setting! Real talent from the 15 Century onwards!

One day when I'm Big, I'm going to have a tiled wall in my kitchen - inspired my Portugal 😉

Ridiculous!

Dinner in a gorgeous setting

After taking a glass lift down, we had dinner at a super chilled and delicious place - overlooking Lisbon!

Scallops might be my new fav fish!

(I'm not sure if I'll be swimming back to Malta after all the fish I have eaten ... or rolling back after all the bread, cheese and dessert I have eaten)

Ps: a tiny open plan kitchen with 3 chefs and a Thermomix produces food for over 35 tables

And the Atlantic water here is definitely not as cold as Clifton Atlantic water

Wednesday’s fun

Driving out of Lisbon, beautiful forests and mountains.

First stop - a wine farm that produced the first table wine in Portugal and has not stopped producing since! Beautiful grounds, delicious wine (more delicious sheeps cheese)

Then some more coastal driving and viewing

And then a delicious lunch in sesembri coastal town!

(Never eaten long clams before - very yum)
