Almost three year old Azi....
Azi is EXTREMELY expressive- there isn't a sentence she says that doesn't have expression in her voice and face, with hand (and head) gestures.
There really is nothing she can't/doesn't chat about these days...she understands everything, even (and especially) when you think she's not listening...and then she gets a sly glean in her eye.
She's super good and pretending and gets completely into the scenario she's created- she has a great imagination and gets the whole pretending thing, like she says "ok in real life"....Her most common scenarios with "Auntie Cass" are:
-I'll be a mommy and you be a baby
-Let's be mermaids
-You be a lady and come for some tea
Some of the things she's been saying- lots of variations, but common phrases, such as: absolutely, actually!
I ABSOLUTELY can't wait to swim
I ABSOLUTELY can't run, I'm tired
I'm ABSOLUTELY boiling
I'm SO excited (pronounced 'cited') for grandpa
I've got a very clever idea (pronounced 'dea')
That's great
Well done, you did a great job!
That's perfect
My tummy is grumbling
I just want to rest here so I can think (pronounced 'sink') about it
Just wait a sec (with hand up)
That's incredible (pronounced 'ntredible')
Suddenly
I MUST chew slowly like Ally
Just relax and breath (with eyes closed, breathing deeply)....Hmmmm...Bit too much time spent with granny!
I MUST be careful (pronounced 'tareful')
Zaz pulling Azi along the aisle inside the train "I'm JUST little Zaza!"
Cass trying to cut Azi's nails "I ACTUALLY don't like it!"
Cass' water spills in her bag "Cass, you should use a patet (packet), that's what my mum says!"
Granny: Azi is grandpa downstairs
Azi: No, he's out doing uber!
Granny: Azi if you don't eat your meat you won't get long hair like Zaz
Azi: Thats otay (ok), I like short hair!
SUCH A CHEEKY BUGGER- WE ADORE HER and all her crazy ways- she brings such joy to everyone she encounters, and gives a really great hug, like a little baby koala clinging on.
She also loves to put her arms around 2 people on either side of her and say "SANGWICH" with a super cheesy smile.
